The activities carried out by the Intellectual Property Agency against unlicensed use of software are highly appreciated
On 6th February of current year a meeting was held at Intellectual property Agency with representatives of “Oracle Corporation” company of US.
Welcoming the guests, Chairman of Board of the Agency Dr. Kamran Imanov provided detailed information on economic reforms carried out by the Head of State and successful results gained in the field of intellectual property in our country.
Oleg Jukov, Oracle Corporation Vice President for Russia and CIS, Dmitry Smirnov, Director for Caucasus and Central Asia, and Dilshod Maksudkhanov, Technology Sales Representative in Azerbaijan, thanked for the reception. They reported on the international Oracle Day - 2020 event held at the Hilton Hotel in Baku on February 6-7 and underlined that such events had a positive impact on building relationships with local consumer companies.
During the meeting, the work done by the Agency to combat the unlicensed use of Oracle Corporation software was highly appreciated and emphasized the importance of taking joint steps in the following stages.
