The activities of patent attorneys were discussed at the Intellectual Property Agency
A meeting was held at Intellectual Property Agency with patent attorneys. Member of Board of Intellectual Property Agency Mr. Sanan Tapdigov informed about reforms carried out in the field of intellectual property including intended amendments to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Trademarks and Geographical Indications”. He said that the work on the implementation of “Open Target to Patents and Trademarks” (OTPT) digital information systems is in the final stages and a number of measures have already been implemented to apply the intellectual property rights management system in digital networks.
The issues related to the activities of patent attorneys and current problems were discussed at the meeting.
At the end of the event, it was decided to hold regular meetings in this format.
