Students of Baku Slavic University have completed their internship at Intellectual Property Agency
In recent years, students of various higher education institutions in our country have internship at the Intellectual Property Agency as a tradition. Within the framework of this practice, students improve their knowledge in the field of intellectual property, take an active part in educational activities related to this area, organized by the Agency.
In February-May of this year, students of the 4th course of the Baku Slavic University, who received an education in the specialty “Translation”, have completed internships at the departments of “International Relations and Information”, “Registration of Copyright Objects and Legal Expertise” and “Registration of Industrial Property Objects and Registry". During the period of practical training, students were familiarized with the process of registration of copyright objects and objects of industrial property in the state register, issues of international cooperation in the field of intellectual property, as well as with the mechanism of implementation of various documents received by the Agency etc.
Upon completion of the internship at the Agency, a meeting was held with the participation of students and managers of the practice, at which senior officials of the Agency emphasized the active work of the trainees and expressed confidence that they would become good specialists in their future profession.
