The Eurasian Pharmaceutical Register started operating on March 1, 2021.

The purpose of conducting the Eurasian Pharmaceutical Register is to inform interested parties about the existence of exclusive rights on pharmacologically active substances protected inventions, methods of their preparation and medical use in the Eurasian space.

The main advantage of the Eurasian Pharmaceutical Register is the inclusion of Eurasian patents valid in the territory of the 8 member states of the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO) and national patents of the states that have agreed to the Eurasian Patent Convention, as well as information on registered medicines and license agreements in these states.

The activity of the register is regulated by the Regulation of the Eurasian Pharmaceutical Register approved by the Administrative Council of EAPO.

Any person will be able to obtain an extract from the Eurasian Pharmaceutical Register, subject to payment of a fee set by the Eurasian Patent Office.

It should be noted that the Republic of Azerbaijan has been a member of EAPO since 1995. Citizens of our country can also use the possibilities of this register.
