Public Union “Digital and Audiovisual Broadcasting Industry” registered in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan applied to Intellectual Property Agency for accreditation as collective management organization. Accreditation Commission has been established at the Agency in order to analyze the documents submitted by the public association in accordance with the copyright legislation.

Nowadays, at the meeting of the Accreditation Commission of the Intellectual Property Agency, a positive opinion was expressed on the appeal of the public union. According to the unanimous opinion of the members of the Commission, it was decided to accredit the Public Union “Digital and Audiovisual Broadcasting Industry” for the period of 5 (five) years.

Certificate on registration (accreditation) of Collective Management Organizations submitted to the Chairman of Board of Public Union “Digital and Audiovisual Broadcasting Industry” Mr. Murad Babayev by Member of Board of Agency, Deputy-Chairman Mr. Sanan Tapdigov.

It should be noted that the main activity of “Digital and Audiovisual Broadcasting Industry” Public Union is to manage the property rights of performers, phonogram producers and broadcasting organizations on a collective basis and to protect and represent their rights, including the collection and distribution of royalties for the use of performances, phonograms and programs.
