A meeting was held at Intellectual Property Agency with doctor of pharmaceutical sciences, professor Mahbuba Valiyeva and head of the “Nargiz” clinic Malahat Gahramanova representing Azerbaijan at 12th Korea International Women's Inventory Fair and Forum organized by Korean International Women's Inventors Association in South Korea on 20-25 June, 2019.

It should be noted that at international event the representatives of Azerbaijan presented a total of 9 inventions on the acquisition and use of herbal remedies. One of them has Azerbaijani, other eight have Eurasian patent.

Member of the Board of the Agency Sanan Tapdigov welcomed the guests and informed about the activities of the Agency. He noted that the Agency has always supported innovation; innovative activity in our country, and the Technology Transfer and Support to Commercialization Department established at Agency and congratulated the representatives of Azerbaijan that were awarded at the international event.

M. Gahramanova noted that the representatives of our country participated in this event organized by the Korean International Women's Inventors Association for the first time and noted that the inventions of Azerbaijani women were highly appreciated and awarded.

M.Valiyeva noted that one of the two prizes of the exhibition - "Special prize" was presented to the representative of our country, and in general, our inventor women were awarded 3 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals and thanked the Agency for organizational issues of their participation at the international event.
