An educational event on "The Call of Nature" was held at the Intellectual Property Agency
In the Republican Scientific and Technical Library (RSTL) under the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the occasion of June 5 - World Environment Protection Day and "Let's unite for a green world!" and in connection with the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 29), an event and exhibition entitled " The Call of Nature " was held.
Director of RSTL, Mubariz Mammadli, spoke about the importance of COP 29 - Conference of the Parties on Climate Change, which will be hosted by our country this year. He noted that beneficial results are expected from the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties in the direction of solving environmental problems, which have become a major problem of the 21st century.
At the event, Sayyara Mammadova, head of the Environmental Education and Communication Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Gulnara Abbasova, the deputy head of the National Hydro meteorological Service, made a video presentation on ecosystem regulation in our country, projects implemented to restore the ecosystem in the territories liberated from occupation.
The book "Azerbaijani nature" published by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan was presented to RSTL by S. Mammadova.
Akif Tavakkuloglu, adviser to the Chairman of the Board of the Intellectual Property Agency, emphasized the importance of such meetings and discussions in the field of environmental education, as well as the importance of holding such events on a permanent basis. He emphasized that environmental problems are of concern not only within one country, but also on a global scale, and noted that everyone is responsible for protecting the ecological balance.
At the end of the event, the questions of the Intellectual Property Agency staff on topics were answered in detail.
