Diplomatic Conference to Sign "Protocol on the Protection of Industrial Designs for the Eurasian Patent Convention of September 9, 1994" will be held on September 9 in Nur-Sultan, capital of Kazakhstan. The Diplomatic Conference will be held on the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Convention.

The Protocol aims at expanding the Eurasian Industrial Protection System for Industrial Property, creating an Interstate System for the Protection of Industrial Designs on the basis of a single Eurasian Patent in the territories of all signatories, promoting their domestic market and developing their trade and investment activities.

The Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been actively involved in the preparation of the above-mentioned Protocol, its proposals have been taken into account and relevant changes have been made in the document.

Government delegations of several countries, employees of international and regional intergovernmental organizations, as well as international experts in the field of intellectual property have been invited to the Diplomatic Conference.

At this prestigious international event, our country will be represented by a delegation led by the Chairman of Board of the Intellectual Property Agency, Dr. Kamran Imanov.
