On December 16, 2022, on the initiative and organization of the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, a video conference dedicated to the discussion of the 2022 edition of the Global Innovation Index with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) was held.

In the video-conference, questions about the issues that need to be clarified regarding the methodology of the Global Innovation Index, the indicators reflected in the report or the actual indicators in the current reality were answered by WIPO representatives.

In relation to the questions prepared by the relevant working groups of the Commission regarding specific indicators, WIPO experts provided relevant explanations and methodological support.

Taking into account the relevance and importance of the topic, it was mutually suggested to continue cooperation in this field and provide training and useful materials in order to further improve the indicators of the index.
