Since 2019, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has been hosting international discussions on the relationship between advanced technologies and intellectual property (IP). There have been four sessions of these discussions over the past two years.

The relevance and importance of intangible assets and intellectual property continues to grow due to digitalization, advanced technologies and the accelerating effects of the pandemic. Advanced technology is one of the key tools for creating more efficient and accessible IP systems.

WIPO plans to organize two more sessions of international discussions in 2022 to enhance the potential of these technologies and create an IP ecosystem that is accessible to all.

The fifth session will be held on April 5-6, and the sixth session on September 21-22. The events will focus on providing the best services provided to users by IP management bodies.

Employees of IPs from different countries, experts in this field, creative people, innovators and individuals are eligible to attend in these discussions.
