A regional seminar on "Creative Economy: Data Model, Measurement and Intellectual Property" will be held in Baku on December 2-3, 2024, jointly organized by the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

The regional seminar, which is a continuation of cooperation between Azerbaijan and WIPO in the field of creative economy, will be attended by a delegation representing this international organization, as well as representatives from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.

During the two-day event, WIPO's professional experts will deliver interesting presentations on various topical issues of the creative economy, and discussions will be held on the role of intellectual property, including copyright, in the development of the creative economy. Information about Azerbaijan's experience in developing the creative economy will also be provided.

Authorized representatives of our country's ministries, committees and public institutions, members of the National Assembly, heads of higher education institutions and employees of public institutions are expected to attend the international event.
