An educational event on artificial intelligence was held at the Intellectual Property Agency

An event on the topic “Artificial Intelligence and Physics” was held at the Republican Scientific and Technical Library (RSTL) under the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The director of the library, Mubariz Mammadli, opened the event with an introductory speech, talking about the development of technologies and their impact on human life, the stages of the industrial revolution and their role in socio-economic transformations and also noted a number of studies conducted in this area by Kamran Imanov, Chairman of the Board of the Intellectual Property Agency.
It was emphasized that in April of this year, at an information session on copyright and generative artificial intelligence, organized within the framework of the 46th session of the Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Professor K. Imanov made a presentation on the topic of “Artificial Intelligence and Copyright” on behalf of the countries of the Caucasus, Central Asia and Eastern Europe.
At the event, Zeynab Jalilova, a graduate of the Faculty of Physics of Sivas Cumhuriyet University (Turkey), gave a presentation on the topic “Artificial Intelligence and Physics”. He pointed out that artificial intelligence is a force that opens new horizons in education, scientific research, and everyday life. The report touched upon the achievements achieved by using the capabilities of artificial intelligence in various fields of physics. It was noted that artificial intelligence is rapidly spreading in many fields, from education to medicine, and based on this, it can be said that artificial intelligence carries both powerful opportunities and problems that require serious precautions.
The interactive event continued with discussions around the topic and participants' questions were answered.
The exhibition organized as part of the event showcased publications in the fields of artificial intelligence and physics from the library's collection. Then the event participants were introduced to the library's "Rare Fund".
At the end Z. Jalilova was presented with a certificate and a commemorative photo was taken in front of the bust of the Great Leader.
Representatives of the National Aerospace Agency of the Ministry of Defense Industry, Azerbaijan University of Languages, Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Odlar Yurdu University, and Azerbaijan Cooperation University attended the event.
