The Eurasian Patent Office begins to function as an International Search and Preliminary Examination Authority within the frame of PCT
The Eurasian Patent Office (EPO) of Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO) will operate as an International Search Authority (ISA) and International Preliminary Examination Authority (IPEA) under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) sinceJuly 1, 2022.
The decision to designate EPO as ISA and IPEA was made at the 53rd session of the PCT Union Assembly in October 2021.
The amount of fees for international search and international preliminary examination and for other measures provided by EPO in connection with ISA and IPEA functions, have been posted on EAPO internet portal.
