Azerbaijani young inventors among the winners of Euroasian Patent Universiade “Advancing the Future”
Euroasian Patent Universiade “Advancing the Future” dedicated to 25th anniversary of Euroasian Patent Office (EAPO). The knowledge contest was attended by students of educational institutions of the Eurasian Patent Convention and other interested young people aged 18-25. Representatives of our country also actively participated in this competition at the initiative of the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Nowdays EAPO announced results of knowledge contest. The jury of the Universiade evaluated the submitted creative works and determined the winners, prize-winners and diploma holders in four subjects.
Among the winners of the Universiade were representatives of Azerbaijan. The project of Seymur Talibov and Gudrat Aghazada “Mobile robot for detection and automatic removal of coronavirus COVID-19 in medical institutions” on the topic of “Protection from virus – enemy can’t pass! Individual infection control systems of doctors and patients” was awarded 2nd place, the project of Zarifa Ahmadzada and Elvin Ahmadzada “Epitaxial CdFeTe films for electronics” on the topic of “We are descendants of N. Tesla. All the rules of nature are in our hands” was awarded 3rd.
EAPO was established in 1994. Our country signed the Eurasian Patent Convention on September 9, 1994, and became a full member of the organization in 1995 with the ratification of the convention.
