Congratulations on the 145th anniversary of the Azerbaijani national press!

The "Akinchi" newspaper, which began to be published in the native language on July 22, 1875 by the prominent enlightener of Azerbaijan Hasan bey Zardabi, went down in history as the first example of our national press. In later periods our national press has passed a glorious and rich path of development.

Today, the development of independent, honest media in our country, guided by the national interests of our nation, is always in the center of attention of our state as one of the priorities, and all kinds of care is taken for their activities.

According to the Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated June 30, 2020, the 145th anniversary of the Azerbaijani national press is widely celebrated in our country in order to preserve and promote the traditions of the national press in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The Intellectual Property Agency always cooperates closely with the media, highly appreciates the activities of media organizations in the promotion and protection of creativity, innovation and cultural heritage in our country.
