At the meeting, a comprehensive report by Kamran Imanov, Chairman of the Board of the Intellectual Property Agency, Head of the Special Working Group on Intellectual Property Issues, on the topic "Analysis of Indicators for Azerbaijan in the Global Innovation Index - 2024 Report" was heard and a presentation was made. The report and presentation extensively was analyzed conceptual and methodological issues in a comparative manner on the relevant indicators of the Global Innovation Index and provided recommendations for further improving Azerbaijan's indicators in the coming year.

Vusal Shikhaliyev, Head of the Sector at the Department of Economic Policy and Industrial Issues of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan made a speech. He stated that special attention should be paid to the methodology of systematizing data to ensure the completeness of indicators for our country in the "Global Innovation Index" Reports. In this regard, he noted the need to strengthen cooperation between other relevant working groups and the World Intellectual Property Organization, emphasizing that it would be useful to benefit from the support of the Azerbaijan Intellectual Property Agency in this work.

Fariz Jafarov, Executive Director of the "Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution" under the Ministry of Economy and a member of the Special Working Group on "Intellectual Property Issues", spoke about coordination issues in the field of collecting and systematizing data included in the "Global Innovation Index" report.

Finally, questions of interest to the members of the Working Group and representatives of other relevant working groups invited to the meeting were answered.
