The next training on "Copyright and related rights" was held within the framework of "Intellectual Property Month" announced by the Intellectual Property Agency.

At the event, Nadira Badalbeyli, the head of the agency's copyright objects registration and legal expertise department, made a speech. She commented on Articles 17-24 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Copyright and Related Rights" and talked about the signs of using works for personal purposes, copying, free use, types of exceptions and restrictions.

Then, the speaker gave information about the concept and system of electronic libraries, their characteristic features, collection, storage and protection of library funds, formation of information base on the profile of the electronic resource, as well as the logical analysis of the "creativity" criterion and the illegal use of the work. At the same time, the work done by the Agency in the mentioned field was brought to the attention of the training participants.

In the report stated that the issues raised in the books " Electronic Libraries, Electronic Library Systems and Copyright Issues" and "Scientific Work and Copyright: Opportunities and Challenges" published by the Intellectual Property Agency were covered in detail.

At the end, the questions of the event participants were answered.

Staff of the Agency's structural divisions, subordinate institutions and representatives of the Public Union "For Copyright Rights" took part in the training.
