Within the framework of the “Heydar Aliyev Year” an event entitled “National Salvation Day” was held in the Republican Scientific-Technical Library (RSTL) under the Intellectual Property Agency.

Mr. Mubariz Mammadli, Acting Director of RSTL, First Deputy Director for Innovation and Development, emphasized the great social, political and historical significance National Salvation Day and spoke about the rescue mission of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and ensuring the irreversibility of our independence.

At the event, the employees of RETK spoke about the unbending will, foresight, and selflessness of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev, and drew attention to the fact that a wise politician and statesman is the architect and founder of our independence.

Ms. Azadeh Orujova, Scientific Secretary of RSTL, said that under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the worthy successor of the Great Leader, Azerbaijan has become stronger over the past years and has become an influential state in the world: In 2020, our valiant army under the leadership of our Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief liberated our occupied territories as a result of the 44-day Patriotic War, and the occupying army was defeated. This victory was inscribed in our history in golden letters. Of course, our unity and solidarity as a nation and society played an important role in this Victory. Azerbaijan, which was saved by the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev from chaos and anarchy, from the threat of loss of statehood and set on the path of dynamic reforms, has now become the fastest developing, renewing, modernizing and democratizing state in the world under the leadership of its worthy successor - President Ilham Aliyev.
