On December 24, a meeting was held at the State Advertising Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan with representatives of the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan. During the meeting, the work to be done to implement the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the Intellectual Property Agency and the State Advertising Agency in 2024 was discussed. It should be noted that in the meeting held in 2024 between the Chairman of the Board of the Intellectual Property Agency Kamran Imanov and the Chairman of the Board of the State Advertising Agency Farhad Adigozalov, the importance of mutual cooperation in protecting the Azerbaijani language in advertising and the implementation of a number of measures within the framework of cooperation for this purpose were emphasized.

Lala Abdullayeva, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of the State Advertising Agency, pointed out that within the framework of the objectives of the aforementioned Memorandum and mutual cooperation, it may be useful to determine the compliance of advertising texts published in foreign languages in open spaces with the legislation.

Naila Nasibova, Deputy Director - Sector Head of the Department of Law, Appeal and Registration of Industrial Property Objects of the Intellectual Property Agency, and Ilaha Samadova, Advisor to the Information Technologies Department, once again emphasized the importance of the Memorandum of Cooperation and noted that it would be useful to hold meetings and joint events in 2026 with the participation of organizations operating in the field of advertising to ensure that advertising texts in foreign languages comply with literary language norms.

Representatives of the Intellectual Property Agency also provided detailed information about the "Patent, Trademark Open Target Digital" (PANAH) digital information system, the “960 Call Center” and the Register of Industrial Property Objects - “Open Registers” for inventions, utility models, industrial designs, trademarks and geographical indications. It was noted that the Agency successfully conducts educational trainings in the field of intellectual property in higher education institutions and these events allow participants to increase their knowledge in the field of intellectual property.

The meeting proposed that entrepreneurs be involved in the Agency's training projects to increase their knowledge of intellectual property rights.
