A new training course on "Rights to Trademarks, Geographical Indications and Well-known Trademarks" has been launched at the Intellectual Property National Training Center under the Intellectual Property Agency.

At the opening of the training, Mr. Zahir Hajiyev, the Director of the Intellectual Property National Training Center, made speech and gave his recommendations to the training participants and wished them success.

Employees of the Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control State Service under the Ministry of Economy, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan participate in the training course.

During the trainings, which will last for two months, the audience will be trained on the topics of “Examination and registration of trademarks”, “Geographical Indications”, “Requirements for well-known trademarks”, “International treaties (conventions and agreements) to which the Republic of Azerbaijan is a party on trademarks”.
