An employee of the Intellectual Property Agency participated in the regional webinar
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) held a Regional Webinar on “Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) System and the Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs (Hague) ".
Rovshan Nasirov, Deputy Director of the Enforcement Centre on Intellectual Property Rights under the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, participated in the online event, which organized for experts from the Caucasus, Central Asia and Eastern Europe.
At the webinar Pavel Spitsyn, Director of the WIPO Office in the Russian Federation and Ilya Gribkov, Head of the Division for the Caucasus, Central Asia and Eastern Europe of the Department of Countries in Transition and Developed Countries, delivered speeches, as well presentations on the topic “Patent Cooperation Treaty”, “Application of the Patent Cooperation Treaty within the Eurasian Patent System” and “Introduction to the Hague System” was listened.
During the event, information was provided on the main level of patenting inventions in foreign countries in accordance with the Patent Cooperation Treaty and the international registration of industrial designs in accordance with the Hague registration system, and the participants’ questions were answered.
At the end, certificates were presented to the participants of the webinar, including the representative of Azerbaijan.
