In collaboration with the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Youth Foundation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and "Support for Enlightenment of Youth” Public Union , a winter school titled "We are the Lawyers of the Future" was held in Naftalan city on 8-10 March 2024 among students of law faculties of higher education institutions. Within the framework of this winter school, the senior adviser of the Department of Legal, Appeal and Registration of Industrial Property Objects Intellectual Property Agency, Akbar Aliyev, conducted a training session titled “Establishment of Court Proceedings” and practical simulation (National Moot Court).

In his speech, the rector of the Academy of the Bar Association of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Law, Professor Amir Aliyev emphasized the special attention and support provided by Kamran Imanov, the Chairman of the Board of the Agency for legal education and enlightenment in Azerbaijan. At the same time, he provided information about the importance of activities in this sphere and the events of the Agency in this direction.

During the training and practical simulation, the representative of the Agency explained matters such as the national court procedure, points to be considered for success in civil court procedure, relevant substantive and procedural legal norms, practical and theoretical issues, as well as essential information arising from the Agency's involvement in court proceedings. The training drew significant interest from legal students, their practical questions were answered, and discussions on legal problems were conducted in team formats. In the next stage, the legal written assignments of the participants and their court presentations prepared within the simulation framework were also evaluated.

At the closing ceremony, participants of the winter school were rewarded.
