A delegation led by Grigory Ivliyev, President of the Eurasian Patent Office, the executive body of the Eurasian Patent Organization, paid a working visit to Azerbaijan to participate in the 13th Session of the World Urban Planning Forum (WUF13).

G. Ivliyev met with the Chairman of the Board of the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kamran Imanov, as part of the visit. During the meeting, the President of the Eurasian Patent Office noted that the WUF13 session was organized at a high level. He expressed his hope that this event would make a significant contribution to the protection of intellectual property rights in the field of architecture and urban planning.

The chairman of the Board of the Intellectual Property Agency, Kamran Imanov, reported on the latest achievements of the Agency. He noted that WUF13, in addition to making great contributions to both our country and the world's urban planning policy, is one of the best platforms for studying international experience in the protection and enforcement of intellectual property, including copyright and patent rights to architectural designs.

The meeting discussed the panel meeting on intellectual property held within the framework of WUF13, and discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation and other issues.
