On October 5, the VIII Baku International Book Fair was opened at Baku Expo Center.

The Fair created an exposition from rare books stored in the “Golden Fund” of the Republican Scientific and Technical Library (RSTL) under the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The specialized section features 259 rare books related to science, economy, petrochemicals, architectural and other areas.

78 books on the oil industry, 30 books on chemistry, 28 books on physics, 28 books on architecture, 23 books on geology, 51 books on mathematics, as well as 21 unique books written on the topics of science, and agriculture industry aroused great interest among the exhibitors, which are protected in the "Golden Fund" of the RSTL.

Chairman of the Writers' Union of Azerbaijan, People's Writer Anar got acquainted with the rare books stored in the "Golden Fund" of the Republican Scientific and Technical Library.

VIII International Book Fair will continue until October 9.
