In accordance with the Resolution No. 12 of the Board of the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 16, 2021, the "National Training Center for Intellectual Property" was established with the co-founding of the Center of Patent and Trademark Examination Center under the Agency and the Center for the Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights.

The Training Center operates on the principle of self-financing.

In accordance with its Charter, the Training Center will operate in connection with the Agency and its subordinate institutions, state bodies, legal entities and natural persons, including scientific-research and educational institutions, as well as the Academy of the World Intellectual Property Organization. The aim of the activity of the Training Center is to support the training of professional personnel in the field of intellectual property. Authors, rights holders, specialists, students, research scientists, employees working in private and state enterprises, business and entrepreneurial subjects, business managers, those engaged in small and medium entrepreneurship, those who want to become patent attorneys and other interested persons can benefit from the Training Center to increase their knowledge on intellectual property. In this regard, the Training Center will regularly organize courses. Well-known international experts, specialists and lawyers in the field of intellectual property will give lectures to the audience.

The Training Center will also participate in educational activities in the field of intellectual property and the formation of intellectual property culture.

The educational process organized by the Training Center will be carried out offline (live), including through an online platform.

Those who successfully complete the courses will be given a Certificate confirming the competence and skills they have acquired.

The Training Center also plans to hold thematic seminars, exhibitions, conferences, round tables and master classes for interested persons.
