The delegation of the Eurasian Patent Organization visited the Cabinet of Ministers
Ali Ahmadov, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with the delegation led by Grigory Ivliyev, the president of the Eurasian Patent Office, which is the executive body of the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO).
A. Ahmadov reported on successive reforms in the field of intellectual property in Azerbaijan and expressed his satisfaction with the development of our country's cooperation with EAPO. The Deputy Prime Minister said that Azerbaijan's participation in EAPO is important and he is interested in continuing this cooperation.
G. Ivliyev pointed out that Azerbaijan participates in various programs of EAPO. Referring to the new directions of the organization's activity, he emphasized that they are ready to create a single Eurasian trademark and a single Eurasian utility model registration system. G. Ivliyev said that next year, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of EAPO, the meeting of the Administrative Council of the organization will be held in Geneva.
Kamran Imanov, Chairman of the Board of the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, who participated in the meeting, informed about the development of intellectual property in our country, modern management models in this field, transfer of technologies and use of venture capital.
