Mr. Shahmar Movsumov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Economic Issues and Innovative Development Policy of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan met with a delegation led by Mr. Hasan Kleib, Deputy Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

The existence of productive cooperation between Azerbaijan and WIPO was noted and comprehensive support for the development of these relations was expressed at the meeting.

Mr. Sh.Movsumov informed about the reforms carried out in the field of intellectual property and innovation in our country under the leadership of the head of state.

Mr. H.Kleib expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation between Azerbaijan and WIPO. He emphasized that there is potential for increasing awareness of intellectual property rights and expanding cooperation in the direction of education in this field.

Dr. Kamran Imanov, Chairman of the Board of the Intellectual Property Agency, took part in the meeting.
